Moto RAZR futuristic folding phone!

Motorola has been doing great until Lenovo brought them. Moto G3 was a superb phone when it was released back in 2015. Moto was hiding from releasing new phones and they were concentrating on this futuristic smartphone. The folding phone was the trend of the old generation.

This phone's performance is somewhere upper-middle-range and all components are not a flagship.

1. Display:

This phone has 2 screens including a small-sized quick view display and the main display. Quick view display is 2.7 inches G-OLED display with 600x800 pixels. This display is named to do pretty simple stuff.

The main display is a foldable P-OLED type, display, capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. It's a 6.2-inch display with a 70.2% screen to body ratio and 876x2142 pixels 373 PPI density. There is a notch with an earpiece and other sensors.

The chin is massive because many of the components are hidden under the chin. There is a huge down-firing speaker with a type-C charging port.

2. Performance:

Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 (10nm)  with 2.2 GHz clock speed is the processor moto used in RAZR which is good but not so good for a $1499 ( ₹105000 ) phone. The only released option is 6 GB ram and 128 GB internal memory with no SD card slot. The fingerprint scanner is front-mounted which is fast enough. They have added GPU Adreno 616 for more performance.

3. Camera:

Only one camera!! 16-megapixel f/1.7 camera for back shooting and selfie. Only one camera which is best in class. The selfie is captured on the quick view display. The advantage is that we can take quality selfie photos with a single camera. Camera features are dual-LED, dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama, etc. Video shooting at 2160p@30fps and 1080p@30fps with gyro-EIS.

4. Battery:

The battery is only 2510 mAh which is less when compared with other phones in 2019. And only 15 W charging is supported. The battery will drain so quickly because of 2 displays. 

Some drawbacks:

Moto RAZR is not IP certified but it has splash-proof. Delicate side design, gaps on the side and slappy noise when folding the phone are some worries to bother.

Overall this phone is good for showoffs and for a decent user but not so good for pro users...
